At Aquafun Fair, Betsan attracted strong attention by bringing together two distinct segments—porcelain and glass mosaic—under one roof within the field of pool architecture and surface solutions. Showcasing its innovative product portfolio and robust domestic production infrastructure, the company highlighted its integrated approach to design, performance, and sustainability. Betsan’s General Manager, Fatih Rıdvan Kaya, shared insights on the porcelain and glass mosaic collections presented exclusively at the fair, evaluating the design and sustainability advantages offered to architects, as well as Betsan’s innovation-driven vision for the future.

Emphasizing the productivity of Aquafun Fair, Fatih Rıdvan Kaya stated that Betsan introduced its 2026 product lines to industry professionals for the first time at the event. He highlighted that 80–90 percent of the products showcased were domestically manufactured, describing this as a key source of pride for the company. Kaya noted that Betsan structured its presence around two core product groups—porcelain pool solutions and glass mosaic collections—offered under a single, integrated brand identity, enabling architects to access holistic design solutions across different segments.

Commenting on the porcelain range, Kaya drew attention to the rising demand for linear overflow pool systems, introducing Betsan’s 33 × 3 cm porcelain coping units as a durable alternative to basalt stone. With near-zero water absorption, high durability, and resistance to color fading, these products are designed for long-term performance, now complemented by a newly added light color option. He also highlighted the Superstone series, which combines porcelain handrails, overflow grates, and tiles to meet architects’ preference for monolithic, single-tone pool environments, alongside 33 × 120 cm L-shaped coping units suitable for both internal and external overflow systems.

Kaya emphasized Betsan’s focus on soft, timeless color palettes, noting the importance of correctly distinguishing between 33 × 66 cm pool interior tiles and 60 × 120 cm terrace tiles, each produced with different formulations for their specific applications. He added that Betsan expanded its range with flexible overflow grates for oval pools and introduced 7.5 cm concave and convex elements for the first time in Türkiye, enhancing the architectural strength of pool designs.

Turning to glass mosaic, Kaya underlined Betsan’s 35 years of expertise, describing it as the brand’s flagship product group. He explained that new digital printing technologies now allow matte and glossy finishes to be combined on a single surface, attracting strong interest from architects. Special collections developed for wet areas and steam rooms, featuring lace-textured glass mosaics and indirect lighting effects, have received particularly positive feedback from professionals.

Among the most notable products at the fair, Kaya pointed to the New Bali series, which translates the natural stone aesthetic into glass mosaic while eliminating issues such as color bleeding and surface degradation. He added that Java and Scravi stone textures have also been adapted into glass mosaic form, reflecting the growing demand for natural-looking pools and architectural spaces. Kaya concluded that Betsan continues to shape its product development strategy in line with this enduring design trend.
